Housing

01 Your building project

Whatever your project from Commercial, Residential or Community we will utilise our extensive global experience to find the best solution for you, taking into account your geographic region, climate and specific site requirements.


02 Your design or ours

From one of our standard plans to one of yours, anything is possible.

Many of the plans shown in the gallery have been designed for New Zealand conditions and may need modification to suit your environment.

We can use these as a base design and then work together to determine any modifications if required. If you already have your own design - we will work with you to bring your ideas to life!

The design phase is the most exciting and your input is critical. Once the sketch plans are completed we will be in a position to establish a preliminary cost estimate.

A design fee for these plans and engineering will be discussed with you at the time as this will vary with the level of work required.


03 Finalise the design

Having completed the approved plans and specifications we can now prepare a more detailed quote based on the agreed design plans.

The next step is to arrange the contract, project timeline and delivery arrangements.


04 Technical support and supervision

We have a team of trained Lockwood supervisors that are available to contract directly with you or your building contractor to assist in the planning, construction and supervision of your Lockwood Building Program.

Domestic Plans Desgn & Build
We arrived in Aitutaki two days after cyclone Pat had devastated the island, removing 70% of the roofs & demolishing many homes completely. It was with great relief to arrive on our land to find our Lockwood home standing tall.
