Since the inclusion in 2013 of the top Home Building Brand in New Zealand, Lockwood have consistently ranked either as the winner of the category – 2013, 2014, 2016 respectively, or been placed Highly Commended, 2015 and 2017.
All national home building brands are included in this category. Reader’s Digest conducts their survey through an independent research agency Roy Morgan, providing an objective and reliable reference for consumers. The research work is conducted in over 30 countries across 5 continents and is widely recognised as a premier measure of brand trust internationally. The Reader’s Digest survey findings reveal New Zealanders believe a Trusted Brand must be genuine, authentic, reliable and consistent.
What is paramount is that a brand stays true to its promise to consumers and that’s where trust comes in. Those that gain trust do so by sticking to their core principles and adapting to the changing needs of the market. Lockwood is a precision engineered building system, standing strong in cyclones, earthquakes and extreme environmental challenges. Even in the Christchurch and Kaikoura earthquakes, we didn’t lose one of our homes.
We have continued to reflect architectural and home building trends, bringing Lockwood into the forefront of modern interior design, without losing any of the strength and durability the system is recognised for. It is a continued challenge to us to keep improving our systems and our design with our eyes firmly focused on the future.
With this in mind, announcing that our brand has placed as Highly Commended 2017, in a category where very often an individual’s life savings are handed over, is quite satisfying. It means that our hard earned historic reputation for providing safe, dry, beautiful and well constructed homes through our team of dedicated professionals, is as strong as ever.
Thank you New Zealand for your vote, here’s to another 66 years of building your confidence.
We are proud to be, New Zealand’s Home. For Good.
